Hey there. I am sitting in my condo in Las Vegas excited for the World Cup to begin in less than 5 hours. I am looking forward to watching as many games as possible while im here for the WSOP. Vegas is such a broken city. As you walk down the street and feel the blistering heat and the wind, you can just feel desperation all around you. One of the saddest things I see everyday walking down the Las Vegas strip is anywhere from 5-20 Hispanic Immigrants snapping cards for hooker companies. These people are being degraded and exploited by these "girls direct to you" companies who are probably paying them minimum wage(if that) and on top of that are using these people as catalysts for sin. These workers dont seem to speak any English and who knows if they even know what they are advertising for...Its just so heartbreaking....
I see this as an opportunity for me to make money and then do good with it but i'm not gonna lie, its very hard to stay here and be around all of this. It is very lonely here and I just hope I keep making money and can leave here in a few weeks and then go serve in El Salvador and then get home to the Carolinas and see whats next for my life....
