2-24 The Beatitude Playlist

So this sunday I was at St John's in Tryon and I opened a little book to a page of the Beatitudes.
When I was little, I remember learning them in Sunday school and thinking how they sounded so idealistic and irrelevant(I dont think those words were in my vocabulary then ;) but you know what I mean)......So anyways when I opened it and read them this time, they made so much more sense than ever before and really are so relevant to everyday life for all of us. I decided to pick 8 songs from my collection which correspond to the 8 beatitudes and share them this week.
I have titled this the Beatitude Playlist.

"Seeing the crowds, he went up the mountain and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened His mouth and taught them saying:

1. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

2-17 Love, Save the empty

Hi there. I went to Boston this weekend for a brief trip with Danny S. I took a few pictures of the Boston gardens and frozen lake as well as the ocean which I posted above. The bottom picture is one that I took in my hometown which symbolizes the state of the US economy...gloomy and unstable.
I am currently working on organizing my whole music collection, I am going to the store today to buy a few hundred blank cds and some more cd cases so that I can burn every CD that I own and put them in alphabetical order....I know this is a little OCD but I have invested so much that I think Its about time I did this completely.
Here are a few amazing songs that I want you to listen to this week :

1. Erin Mccarley - Love, save the empty

2. The White Tie Affair - Candle

Hope you enjoy

2-3 Absolute

Hi there. The pictures this week are from the pier and beach in Naples and a pretty awesome view from the roof of my house. I am sitting in a Honda Dealership getting my Civic checked up haha. I brought my computer because I was just ridiculously excited for the new Fray album to come out today. I have been waiting about 18 months for this CD and trust me it is worth the wait. I think it is one of the top 5 if not the best album of all time. I would not say
this if I didnt mean it. PLEASE go to your nearest music store and buy it immediately....
I gotta run but have a great week and enjoy this awesome music.
5. Long-View - If You asked Only on Itunes :(
God Bless
